Shane Dedman (they/them) is a poet and visual artist. Their transdisciplinary approach concerns divergent selfdom and accessible archiving via analog and new media practices. Conceptually, they ponder art-making for survival as the framework of trans poetics and aesthetics.

They have been awarded residencies at Chateau Orquevaux, Welcome Hill Studios, The Ionion Center for the Arts and Culture, Joshua Tree Highlands, and TAR Project.
Dedman’s words are published in SAFTA, Wussy Magazine, Analog Cookbook, Underground Journal, Oz Magazine, and fLoromancy. They've read poems at the Bowery Poetry Club, The New York City Poetry Festival, Sundress Academy for the Arts, Flowers for Mammal Gallery, Wussy Mag’s Loudspeakers Series, Berlin Spoken Word Slam, and Argostoli’s Theater Kefalos.
They enjoy playing with their Queer Pool League, petting animals, customizing clothing, clowning, films, and hosting workshops.
